Social policy
Zarubezhneft pursues a responsible social policy and contributes to the sustainable development of the regions where it operates. The company’s efforts are aimed at helping socially unprotected segments of the population, indigenous and small peoples. All major enterprises of the Group of Companies are involved in social activities.
In the Nenets Autonomous Area, the company helps to build and repair kindergartens (in the village of Nes), libraries and sports and recreation centers (in Naryan-Mar), hold sports events (Buran-Day), supports the Children’s Art School, and provides assistance to children with developmental features, for which he buys wheelchairs, hearing aids, special vehicles.
In the Orenburg and Ulyanovsk regions, Zarubezhneft, in cooperation with the administrations of the Akbulaksky district, the Novospassky district and the Starokulatkinsky district, provides financial assistance to poor residents and disabled children. The company helps the Sengileevsky Mountains National Park in environmental protection and protection of wild animals from poaching.
In the Samara Region, Zarubezhneft provides support to socially unprotected segments of the population: it sends assistance to schools for children with disabilities, social service centers, orphanages, directly to the families of residents of the region and children in need.
In the Republic of Srpska on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zarubezhneft traditionally supports events in the area of culture, development of youth and professional sports. Humanitarian actions are carried out in the region, the children’s sports association MD Klinci receives help.
The Company encourages the development of the corporate volunteer movement. Employees of Zarubezhneft took patronage over a nursing home in the Tver region, a boarding school in the Smolensk region, large families in the city of Bely. Volunteers of the company participate in environmental campaigns and community work days, incl. at production facilities, plant trees, clean up polluted water bodies as part of the campaign «Clean banks for our rivers and lakes».
